The winery

Founded in the 13th century by the Order of the Templars and later bequeathed to the Knights of Malta, Domaine Peyrassol has become a benchmark among the great Côtes de Provence wines over the years.

In 2001, Philippe Austruy purchased the winery, thus continuing its centuries-old history. From 2002 onwards, the passionate wine lover undertook extensive work to restructure the vineyard and modernize the winemaking infrastructure, aiming to produce cuvées that reflect the quality of their terroir.

The vineyard

Château Peyrassol Côtes de Provence rosé wine is produced from selected parcels, particularly from old, low-yielding vines growing on Triassic calcareous soils with a high proportion of pebbles.
