Composition
The fragrance opens with the vibrant brightness of lemon and cedrat, softened by the green sweetness of fig and elevated by the refined spice of cardamom. At its heart, aromatic sage intertwines with elegant cypress, while a subtle marine salt accord evokes the sea breeze and the endless blue of the maritime horizon. The dry-down reveals a rich resinous woody accord, where the earthy depth of vetiver meets the creamy warmth of sandalwood and the fresh, mineral character of moss.
All fragrances of the Eaux de Parfum Collection are housed in the same bottle, made of heavy Italian glass with a thick, curvy base. For Mare Assoluto, the flacon is dressed in a deep blue lacquer finish, paired with a satin white label inspired by the precision of Brioni tailoring. A refined interpretation of the dialogue between light and depth, perfectly reflecting the character of the fragrance.

An ode to the infinite blue

Created by perfumer Romain Almairac, Mare Assoluto unfolds as a contemporary aromatic fougère, built around a resinous, woody accord, enriched by the depth of vetiver and the freshness of moss. True to its heritage of understated luxury and sartorial excellence, Brioni translates the codes of tailoring into the olfactory realm. Mare Assoluto expresses the shades of blue: a controlled presence, both subtle and assertive.

The bottle

All fragrances of the Eaux de Parfum Collection are housed in the same bottle, made of Italian glass with a thick, curvy base. For Mare Assoluto, the square-shouldered, bevelled bottle is lacquered in a deep oltremare blue, evoking the depth of twilight, and simply adorned with a satin label hemmed by a golden cross-stitching motif, inspired by the ones sewn inside Brioni bespoke suits, that brings structure and precision. The magnetic cap is engraved with a B, as is the top of the golden pump spray. Made in Italy by the glassmaker Luigi Bormioli, the bottle is recyclable. The production process ensures that no glass is wasted and that the water is cleaned after use. The raw materials used to decorate the bottle are water-based and environmentally friendly. The satin-finish box is recyclable and has obtained FSC certification.
